Dexos1 GEN 2 motor oils first appeared in 2015. They were created to replace the dexos2 standard. These lubricants are designed for petrol engines equipped with turbochargers and direct fuel injection systems. Due to the low content of calcium, they prevent pre-ignition, protecting the engine from destruction.
