Types of Castrol engine oils
- GTX Ultraclean. These semi-synthetic lubricants ensure 50% better engine cleaning in comparison with the requirements specified for API SN grade oils. They are perfect for high-mileage engines. A special component in their composition ensures cleaning away the sludge that has already built up in the engine and prevents its formation in the future.
- Magnatec. These are fully synthetic lubricants. They are perfect for cars used in urban conditions, as well as those equipped with the “Start-Stop” system. The Dualock innovative technology is the main feature of these products. It includes the use of special additives, which ensure maximum protection of the engine from wear during start.
- EDGE. These are highly efficient lubricants designed for high power engines. They ensure maximum protection and performance. These oils are produced using the brand’s Fluid Titanium technology due to which the oil film strength increases under high pressure. This allows to protect engine parts from wear. Due to minimization of the frictional losses, the engine performance increases by 20% in comparison with similar oils without this technology.
- Vecton. These lubricants are designed for commercial vehicles. Due to innovative System Pro Technology, they are characterized by higher stability to oxidation. That is why they ensure maximum long-term protection of the power unit.
