Shell motor oils are produced by the Royal Dutch Shell PLC international corporation with headquarters in The Hague, the Netherlands. It was established in 1907 in London through the amalgamation of Dutch petroleum and British transport and trading companies. Lubricants have been produced since the company’s foundation. Types of Shell motor oils

• Helix HX3, Helix HX5, Helix HX6. They are designed for high-mileage engines. These are mineral and semi-synthetic lubricants of a rather high viscosity. The oils are resistant to oxidation, retain protective properties between change intervals, prevent engine from wear, contribute to its efficient operation, and prevent leaks and formation of deposits.
• Helix HX7. These are highly efficient semi-synthetic products with the Active Cleansing Technology additive package. The latter efficiently prevents the formation of carbon deposits on engine components and increases the working lifespan of the motor.
• Helix Ultra. This is a fully-synthetic product created using the Active Cleansing Technology additive package and the brand’s PurePlus technology. This technology allows to produce base oils not from crude oil but from natural gas, thus making them as clean as possible. Such oils feature enhanced viscosity and volatility performance and high resistance to oxidation.
• Helix HX8. This synthetic lubricant is made with the Flexi Molecule technology. It contains special antioxidant and anti-wear additives activated under heavy loads, ensuring additional protection for the engine.
