Daewoo Evanda is a car which sales were carried out from 2002 to 2004. This model was intended for the market of Western Europe. The cars were released in South Korea and on Taiwan. The body type is sedan.

The official presentation of the Daewoo Evanda cars took place in 2002 at the Paris Motor Show. In a model range of the Daewoo company this car replaced the Daewoo Leganza model which was outdate. The novelty was constructed on the V100 platform, and its design was developed by the known Italian studio Italdesign.

In an exterior, it was decided to refuse excessive rotundity. Because of wedge-shaped cross-section and the raised tail, the car looked stylishly and dynamically, and smooth lines of the roof and a long hood made exterior elegant. Head lights, radiator grill and a cowl with an effective double power bulge made harmonious ensemble. Cases of exterior mirrors and bumpers were painted in the colour of the body.

The interior had the same style, as an exterior: it was a combination of simplicity and elegance. In spacious five-seater interior the set of boxes for small objects was provided. The comfortable driver's seat was adjustable. Command buttons of the audio system were placed on the steering wheel. The back of medium seat in a back row was transformed to a comfortable armrest. The comfortable armrest was placed between the seats of driver and front passenger also. Expensive modifications had a seat upholstered with leather, and wooden inserts were used in the interior.

Basic modifications of the model had frontal and side airbags, anti-lock brake system (ABS), the air conditioner and power windows of all doors and so on. As additional options, an automatic climate control and the self-darkened mirror were offered.

The Daewoo Evanda model was produced till 2004. In 2004 light restyling took place and model was named Chevrolet Evanda.

The Daewoo Evanda cars were on sale under other names also. In the countries of South Korea they are better known as Daewoo Magnus, in the USA — as Suzuki Verona, in Canada, South America, China, Saudi Arabia — as Chevrolet Epica. In a number of the Asian countries the model was called Formosa Magnus.
