Renault Super 5 is the second generation of the Renault 5 model, the best seller car in France from 1986 to 1989. Cars were produced e in two body types — three - and a five-door hatchback. Assembling was carried out at plants in France, Spain, Belgium, Portugal and Slovenia.

The model had been produced from 1984 to 1996. Renault Super 5 cars, though had external similarity to the predecessors of Renault 5, however were based on the other platform — a body, the chassis and east-west engine were borrowed from Renault 9/11.
