Renault FluenceThe Renault Fluence sedan has been released since 2009 till present. Cars are assembled on Renault and Nissan plants in Argentina, Turkey, South Korea and India. Today one generation and one restyling of model have been presented.
Renault Fluence I generationIn 2004 the Renault Fluence concept car has been presented at the Louis Vuitton Classic auto festival in London. It differed in courageous decisions in design of an exterior: the huge front optics visually connected to the air inlets, thin strips of LED lights, the panoramic roof smoothly transforming into the rear door window.
The mass production of Renault Fluence cars begun only in 2009. The sedan has been constructed on the Nissan C Platform. Designers of the company used some stylistic findings of a concept in designing of a stock car. So, cars of the first generation have got the narrow radiator grille, the smooth line of a roof, stylish front optics and mouldings in the lower part of doors.
Release of the car of the first generation continued until the end of 2012.
Renault Fluence I generation restylingIn 2013 at the motor show in Istanbul the presentation of the first generation restyling of Renault Fluence took place. The modernized cars have received updated halogen headlights, 15-inch steel disks with decorative caps, a LED fringing of fog lamps. Designers changed a radiator grille form and made it much wider. The body has received high-quality anticorrosive processing.
Adaptive electric power steering, board computer, Bluetooth communication system presented in the cheapest complete set of new cars, Authentique. Passive safety in these cars has been presented by an anti-gravel covering of the bottom, adjustable three-point safety belts with pre-stretchers, the automatic notification at emergency brake and two airbags.
Renault Fluence ZEAt the motor show in Frankfurt in 2009 motorists have seen Renault Fluence ZE Concept. The exterior of the unique electric vehicle was made as close as possible to the original Renault Fluence whereas the interior has been made in futuristic style. Since 2011 Renault Fluence ZE stock cars are sold in Turkey, Israel, Australia and some European countries.
