Air hammers & air chisels: what you need to know
Air hammers and air chisels are used for cleaning welds, dismantling corroded parts, removing nuts and rivets.
Operating principle
When the device is on, compressed air gets into the cylinder through the distribution system. This makes the pressure increase and the piston placed inside starts to moving back-and-forth. The motion is transferred to the striker and then to the immediate piston. The latter remains motionless. Its main function is to transmit shock wave to the tip.
What are the types of air chisels
