Info on CITROËN NEMO model - the right selection of spare parts

Release of Citroën Nemo cars is carried out since 2007. One generation of the model is presented. Citroën Nemo cars are released at the Tofas enterprise in Bursa, Turkey. In 2009 the model won the “International Van of the Year” competition.

RFor the first time, the Citroën Nemo car was presented at the motor show in Amsterdam in October, 2007. Initially the model was offered in a van body. In spite of compact dimensions, the car had the quite good loading capacity and spaciousness. Seats were separated from a load box by the metal gauze that created additional protection for the passenger and the driver. In the inner trimming qualitative fabric and plastic were used. The design of Citroën Nemo was stylish and modern. Smooth lines of a body were effectively combined with relief wheel arches. Massive bumper stepping forth the edge of the hood was a distinctive feature of the exterior of the car.

RIn December, 2007, at the motor show in Bologna, the prototype of the stock Citroën Nemo Combi minivan was presented. The Citroën Nemo Concetto concept car resembled the big clownfish from the famous animated film "Finding Nemo" shot by Disney studio s. Seats of the car were decorated with applications with the image of the main characters of this animated film. The sea subject was reflected in design of the dashboard also. The extravagant design of the concept car, as it was explained by the developers, showed that driving this car, one will feel "like a duck to water". Technically conceptual minivan was a successor of a stock Citroën Nemo van.

RThe stock Citroën Nemo Combi minivan was presented at the Brussels motor show in 2008. The car was five-seater. The minivan had the sliding rear doors on both sides of the car. Seats of a back row could be folded or removed at all. Cars were completed with frontal and side airbags, an electric package, parking sensors, the audio system, air conditioner, on-board computer and so forth.

RCitroën Nemo is known also under other names. At the Tofas enterprise in Turkey, the Fiat Fiorino and Peugeot Bipper twin models were also produced.
