Toyota DynaThe model represents the low-tonnage truck which is ideally suited for use in city conditions. Production of Toyota Dyna is organized since 1959 till present at the plants in Taiwan and Portugal.
Toyota Dyna 1959–1999In 1959 the first generation of the model went on sale. In addition to compactness, Toyota Dyna K70 cars differed in low-fuel consumption and good maneuverability. Since 1963 production of the second generaction — Toyota Dyna K170 - began. The car became very successful though producers have only changed the shape of head lights and added new diesel modification.
In 1969 the producer adjusted release of the third generation of the model. The car was developed on the Toyota U platform. The same year modification of Toyota Dyna U10 with a loading capacity of 3 tons went on sale. Designers equipped a car with dual head lights and improved aerodynamics of a body.
In 1977 production of the fourth generation Toyota Dyna was arranged. In 1984 the producer made minor changes in the design of the car and replaced round headlights with rectangular ones. Production of Toyota Dyna U20 continued till 2002.
Production of the fifth generation of the model began in 1984. The car had loading capacity of 1,5–3,0 tons (from 2,0 to 3,0 tons — with dual rear wheels). Toyota Dyna U60 cars were equipped with the ventilated disk brakes.
In 1995 the company presented the sixth generation of the car. The car differed in modern design of a body and high efficience of the engine, and also compliance to environmental standards of the time. Release of Toyota Dyna U100 was carried out till 1999.
Toyota Dyna VII generationIn 1999 the producer presented the seventh generation of the model. Toyota Dyna U300-U500 cars had loading capacity of 1,0–4,0 tons. The car was developed taking into account requirements of an environmental standard of Euro IV.
The basic set of the car included the central lock, an airbag, the alarm system and an anti-theft system. Also all cars were equipped with ABS anti-lock braking system. Transmission of the car was controlled by the special microprocessor.
Toyota Dyna VIII generationIn the summer of 2011 the company presented the eighth generation of the model. The car is equipped with a comfortable cabin. Two-door and four-door chassis and the Toyota Dyna trucks were produced. Power windows and also electronic adjustment of side mirrors were added to a basic set of the car.
The producer managed to make a car even more efficient and conforming European environmental standards. Toyota Dyna U600-U700 cars are equipped with a wide set of engines, including hybrid power units. Release of the cars continues nowadays.
