Info on PEUGEOT PARTNER model - the right selection of spare parts
Peugeot PartnerThe commercial auto vehicle Peugeot Partner is being produced since 1996. To this day, two generations of this car have been presented. Partner is being produced in Spain, Portugal and Argentina. The first generation of this line-up was also produced in Turkey.
Peugeot Partner I generationThe first car to bear this name was presented to public in 1996. It was very hard to classify - being very compact, as a middle-class car might be, Peugeot Partner was able to handle loads more befitting a commercial van and had a spacious passenger compartment and baggage trunk. A panel van, minivan and combined bodies were available. This generation’s cars were typically very robust, qualitative and sported exceptional running characteristics.
Peugeot Partner I generation restylingA restyling of the Peugeot Partner I generation cars was presented in 2002 at the Paris Motor Show. The developers have visibly changed the design of the car. Additional plastic inlays on the front bumper were dyed in the same color as the body. The inlays over the front wheel arches received a new outline, and the rear view mirrors were also enlarged and dyed to match the body. The passenger compartment now sported a smaller steering wheel with a soft rim. On expensive packages, the dashboard boasted two-color upholstery.
Another restyling was done in 2004. The changes were cosmetic, and the car is being produced in that package to this day. After the second restyling, 2002’s Peugeot Partners received a prefix “Origin”.
Peugeot Partner II generationThe second generation of Peugeot Partner debuted officially during the Geneve Motor Show in 2008. The design of the car became more sports-like and dynamic. The modern look was achieved by giving the car convex wheel arches and relief sides, a raised and rounded hood, refreshed bumpers and a stylish radiator grille. Panel van and minivan bodies were available.
Second generation cars were larger and heavier than their predecessors. These models sported good noise reduction, a big cargo hold, perfect passenger compartment space management and a modern design.
Peugeot Partner II generation restylingIn 2012, a restyling of the 2nd generation of Peugeot Partner was conducted. Front and tail lights were renewed, along with the radiator grille, nameplate spot and wheel clads. Railings began to be installed on the car’s roof, and side moldings now matched colors with the body. As an option, a panoramic glass roof was offered. In February 2015, the car underwent another restyling. It received a chromium radiator grille and LED navigation lights. A sensor display appeared in the passenger compartment.
Peugeot Partner on different countries’ marketPeugeot Partner had few analogues. They count Citroen Berlingo and Peugeot Ranch, and, in Mexico, Peugeot Grand Raid, among them.
