Mercedes-Benz R classMercedes-Benz R class is a minivan released by the German company since 2006 till present. The body of these cars is positioned by the developer as a cross between crossovers, minivans and station wagons. This Mercedes-Benz model has its own designation — sportvan. Also it has the names "Sports Cruiser" and "Family Tourer".
The model was initially produced in Vance, the State of Alabama, the USA, but in 2015 production was transferred to the more modern AM General plant in Indiana.
Mercedes-Benz R class W251Mercedes-Benz R class was presented to motorists in 2005 at the auto show in New York. Sales of stock cars began next year. The model was offered with two wheel bases: standard (3 m) and extended (3,2 m). The last was widely adopted in the USA.

The style of Mercedes-Benz R class W251 was brought closer to the classical design of modern representatives of the model range of the company. Besides, tail lights were replaced by LED ones and their shape was changed a little. The rear bumper was also modernized and the suspension was improved.
