Dodge Avenger I generationDodge Avenger debuted on North American market in 1995. An unusual exterior design won auto fans’ attention immediately. Smooth lines, a round front part, a long hood with prominent edges, a short back part with a spoiler on the boot were its distinctive features. Manufacturers put narrow headlights while side repeaters and fog lights were integrated into a wide body kit.
The Dodge Avenger’s four-seat compartment was quite comfortable due to its high roof and an elongated body with its length reaching 4755 mm. Wide comfortable seats with headrests, an ergonomically-designed steering wheel and a thought-out dashboard were installed in the cabin. All controls were located on a comfortable distance from the driver.

Dodge Avenger II generationThe Dodge Avenger concept car was presented at North American International Auto Show in 2003. Vehicles in a sedan body debuted at the Paris Motor Show in 2006.
Dodge Avenger cars were built on the Chrysler Sebring platform. Both cars had an identical power pack and a technical equipment but the exterior and interior designs were individual. Dodge Avenger was adorned by an expressive radiator grille with brand cross- shaped chrome stripes, a wide body kit with small round fog lights and cambered wheel arches. Another exterior feature was a black B-pillar appliqué and an insert element on the rear door, which resembled an aerodynamic element.
Dodge Avenger cars had a spacious cabin. Manufacturers created a V-shaped central console and integrated a two-level glove box with a refrigerator inside it. YES Essentials fabric seats trim was proposed as an extra option. The fabric did not gradually lose its original quality and could be cleaned easily.
Developers also paid much attention to the car’s safety system. A steel body with enforced constructions was supplied by a long list of different systems: ABS, ESP, BAS. Also developers have established multi-stage front and side airbags as well as side curtain airbags.
Dodge Avenger II generation restylingDodge Avenger received a restyling in 2011 resulting with a significant change of exterior design. Developers have set a new radiator grille with renewed nameplate and combination LED tail lights. Car’s interior also felt major changes. Vehicles got new dashboard and 6.5- inches screen which displayed navigation system and multimedia information.
Dodge Avenger production was finished in 2014. It was replaced by the second generation of Chrysler 200.
