Info on DAIHATSU TREVIS model - the right selection of spare parts
Daihatsu TrevisDaihatsu Trevis cars have been produced between 2006 and 2009. During that time, a single generation of the cars in a five-door hatchback body has been introduced to the market. The vehicles were assembled in Osaka, Japan.
Daihatsu Trevis creation historyIn 1999, Daihatsu Trevis began to be manufactured for the domestic market, but the cars became popular so quickly, that in 2006 they also entered the European market. The Daihatsu Trevis vehicle debuted during the Geneva Motor Show in 2006. It was a four-seat economy hatchback, ideal for urban locomotion.
The Daihatsu Trevis were defined by their compact size and low weight - a fully-equipped car weighed only 790 kg.
The exterior of the car was quite unusual. The front part of the car was decorated with a wide radiator grille with chrome edging and round headlights. The rear part of the body had a chrome plank above the licence plate. The optics was done as small tapered pillars, with an additional stoplight integrated into the bumper.
The interior of the car was done in a minimalistic style, using gray and white plastic. The cabin had comfortable seats with lateral support for the driver and the front passenger, an ergonomic steering wheel, clearly readable dashboard and a comfortable central console.
The options list contained a CD audio system, air conditioning, power windows and mirrors, remotely-controlled central locking device.
Daihatsu Trevis on various marketsOn the domestic market, Daihatsu Trevis was sold in a three-door hatchback body under the name of Daihatsu Mira Gino. In 2004, a second generation of the cars was presented in a five-doors hatchback body. That was the model which was, ultimately, offered on the European market.
