Info on DAIHATSU TERIOS model - the right selection of spare parts
Daihatsu TeriosDaihatsu Terios are crossover vehicles that are produced since 1997. During the first 19 years of production, the company has presented two generations and a restyling of the car to the market. The cars were assembled in Japan and Venezuela.
Daihatsu Terios J100In 1997, the Daihatsu Terios model entered the market. This crossover was characterised by its compact size, stylish exterior and comfortable interior. The lower part of the body was covered with plastic moldings that were providing both protection and a certain flair to the overall design. On the front, compact headlights were installed, along with a chrome radiator grille and wide body kit with integrated turn indicators. The rear part of the vehicle’s body had stylish lighting pillars installed in it.
The Daihatsu Terios’ passenger compartment was designed with five places in mind. The developers have installed a comfortable driver’s seat and placed lock and power window control buttons on the doors. The central console and all the buttons were placed at a comfortable distance from the driver. The dashboard had three large dials - a speedometer, tachometer and a fuel level indicator.
Daihatsu Terios J100 restylingIn 2000, the first generation of the Daihatsu Terios underwent a restyling. The developers have installed a new radiator grille with longitudinal bars, a redesigned body kit with integrated fog lights. The roof also received decorative railings. No other significant changes have been made to the interior or exterior.
Daihatsu Terios J200/F700The Daihatsu D-Concept 4x4 has been presented in 2005 at the Tokyo Motor Show. The presentation for the European market took place during the next year’s Geneva Motor Show. Serial production of the second generation of the car began in 2006. The vehicles were offered with five and seven-seats passenger compartments.
The second generation of Daihatsu Terios was by far more stylish. The black plastic horizontal radiator grille was replaced by a more catching one with chrome edging. The developers also installed railings on the roof, alloy wheel discs and changed the front body kit and optics.
A new dashboard appeared in the Daihatsu Terios’ cabin, along with a control console for the heating and air conditioning systems; the front doors received plastic niches for personal belongings and documents. The updates list also included rear seats with headrests, a central locking device and front power windows.
Daihatsu Terios on various marketsThe first generation was called Toyota Cami on the domestic market. A Japan-only modification, Daihatsu Terios Kid, was being produced. In Malaysia, the cars were called Perodua Kembara, and Premier Rio - in India. In China, the first generation has been presented as Zotye 2008 and Zotye 5008. A seven-seat off-road vehicle was produced for Indonesia as Daihatsu Taruna.
The second generation of Daihatsu Terios has also been presented on different markets under various names. Japan saw the names of Toyota Rush and Daihatsu Be-Go chosen for its market. In Indonesia, the company has shown its five-seats modification Toyota Rush and the seven-seat Daihatsu Terios. Daihatsu Grand Terios were produced for the Egyptian market. Perodua Nautica was a new name for cars presented in Malaysia.
