Daihatsu RockyDaihatsu Rocky are SUV vehicles that have been produced from 1984 to 2002. Two generation and a restyling of the car have been presented during that period. Cars have been assembled in Japan and Indonesia.
Daihatsu Rocky Ist generationSales of the first generation of the car continued between 1984 and 1993. The Daihatsu Rocky model has replaced Daihatsu Taft on the market. The cars were released in three-door bodies with either a soft or a removable hard top. Also, three-door station wagons with a long wheelbase were sold as Daihatsu Rugger Wagon.
The model had a classical off-road vehicle construction and differed in enhanced cross-country performance. The body of the car received angular shapes. Protruding wheel arches and chrome inlays on the front part of the body became a defining feature of the car’s design, while also protecting its front optics and bumper from deformation in case of a direct impact.
