Audi 200Audi 200 is a business class model based on the Audi 100. It was produced in Germany.
History of Audi 200 creationProduction of Audi 200 began at the end of 1979, and for the next five years the model was released only in a sedan body. It differed from the preceding the Audi 100 model in the chromeplated radiator grille, the smaller size of headlights and a bumper, and also the expensive compartment finishing made of leather and valuable breeds of wood. In 1991 release of this model was stopped.

From 1983 to 1991 the Audi 200 44 Avant station wagons with unusually flat back door were released. Such nonstandard decision had considerably improved the coefficient of aero dynamics of the body, and also reduced pollution of rear window.
Since 1985 Audi 200 were released with fully galvanized body and with special slips in places, the most subject to corrosion (thresholds, doors).
