The stabiliser link connects to the anti-roll bar, which connects the vehicle’s left and right wheels. The anti-roll bar reduces how much the car leans when cornering, keeping the car level and in control.
With a McPherson strut layout, the stabiliser link connects the shock absorber to the anti-roll bar; With a double wish bone it connects to the lower control arm.
