Regarding vehicles with petrol engines up to chassis no. 70- Y-126567, 70-YX120420 (Engine AAF, ACU): When exchanging a water pump with 18 cogs for a new version with 20 cogs, the camshaft sprocket also needs to be changed . OE-number of the camshaft sprocket: 023109111D

This water pump 8600 29025 (20 teeth on pulley), replace water pump 8600 10004 (18 teeth on pulley). On 2.5TDI with the old version of water pump (18 teeth on pulley), the camshaft gear is to be adjusted for correct opening of the valves. On the 2.5 with petrol engine you have to replace the camshaft gear-wheel to new version, O.E. No. 023 109 111D.

Attention! When replacing the waterpump (Old version with 18 teeth, NK.no. 10847033, ref. No. 074121004A) with the new version NK.no 10847035, ref.no. 074121005N with 20 teeth), the camshaft timing gear ref.no. 023109111D must be changed
