Before fitting: Observe the oil change intervals specified by your vehicle's manufacturer. • check the engine for loss of oil/oil leakage • identify and eliminate the cause of any loss of oil/oil leakage • clean the engine • check the plug to the oil level sensor on the vehicle side • remove any oil residue from the plug and clean the plug Note: Oil dripping onto the plug from the outside is often the cause of a defective sensor. This may well be the result of a leaking oil sump, a leaking oil trap or a leaking vacuum pump. Always check for such eventualities BEFORE fitting a new oil level sensor.

Our products are usually delivered without installation instructions. Installation may only be carried out by trained specialist technicians. Products supplied by us are exclusively intended for proper and appropriate use. The warranty is void in the event of improper, contrary to the intended purpose or unsuitable application or use.

For electronic items that leave fault memory entries, it is essential to submit fault memory logs in the event of a claim. This consequently concerns all electronic items that are detected, monitored and controlled by the engine control unit, such as sensors of all kinds (e.g. NOX sensors, ABS sensors), mass airflow sensors, airbag slip rings, headlamp levelling control units, throttle valves, lambda sensors or EGR modules.

KBA no., chassis no., first registration, engine code, mileage), first and second installation invoice, fault memory log, guided troubleshooting and, if applicable, pictures. Incomplete documentation may result in rejection of the claim.
