Performance clutch disc differences to OE: higher Rigid disk with organic linings transmittable torque, higher burst number of revolutions, start performance similar to OE, effortless exchange with OE clutches. Typical applications include: application field of dual mass flywheels, chip tuning, turbocharger and supercharger modifications, towing trailers, commercial vehicle, snowremoval vehicle, passenger car: emergency service, driving school, taxi, vehicles with maximum gross vehicle weight and according to high load (construction-site vehicles, towing service, campers, ambulance cars, etc.), 1/4 mile-race, race circuit (endurance race, clubsport, autocross), hill climbing (e.g. group N), rally, slalom, drift racing

Technically it is possible to combine ATE Ceramic brake pads with the PowerDisc or with perforated brake discs. The brak ing power with such a pairing is the same as with an origina l ATE brake pad or OE brake pad. However, when the two compo nents interact they can generate more noise in braking. ATE Ceramic brake pads were developed for comfort-oriented drive rs. We therefore recommend using them with normal brake disc s, i.e. smooth ones.

For vehicles without ABS, a PowerDisc can be used on the rea r axle only if there is one on the front axle. The General Operating Permit (ABE) for the PowerDisc applies to operation on German roads in accordance with the German Road Traffic Registration Ordinance (StVZO). Other countries may require additional type approvals for use on roads.
