For electronic items that leave fault memory entries, it is essential to submit fault memory logs in the event of a claim. This consequently concerns all electronic items that are detected, monitored and controlled by the engine control unit, such as sensors of all kinds (e.g. NOX sensors, ABS sensors), mass airflow sensors, airbag slip rings, headlamp levelling control units, throttle valves, lambda sensors or EGR modules.

Complete documentation includes the warranty application (incl. KBA no., chassis no., first registration, engine code, mileage), first and second installation invoice, fault memory log, guided troubleshooting and, if applicable, pictures. Incomplete documentation may result in rejection of the claim.

For vehicles without ABS, a PowerDisc can be used on the rea r axle only if there is one on the front axle. The General Operating Permit (ABE) for the PowerDisc applies to operation on German roads in accordance with the German Road Traffic Registration Ordinance (StVZO).
